What is an non waxed hockey skate lace?

In short, our non waxed hockey skate laces are simply a lace made in its natural form with no post production wax treatment. Unlike our waxed laces, TexStyle® non waxed hockey skate laces retain their stretch.

Why choose non waxed?

By lacing up with TexStyle® non waxed hockey skate laces, tension throughout your boot will be uniform and your boot will have some ‘give’. For players who prefer a looser, more flexible fit, non waxed hockey skate laces are a good choice. To obtain your desired fit and feel, it will be important to keep tension tight on the working ends of the lace as you tighten upwards through the eyelets from toe to ankle. You also may require a mid game re-tie in order to maintain your desired tension.
